Sanitation Services

The City of Dacula provides a variety of sanitation services, including weekly trash collection, bi-weekly recycling pickup, bulk item pickup, limb chipping, and seasonal leaf removal in the fall. As of October 2022, the basic charge for weekly trash service is $24 per month, billed annually on the Dacula Property Tax Bill. Recycling services are included at no additional cost to Dacula sanitation customers.

Residents may place up to two City-approved garbage receptacles at the curb no earlier than the day before collection, ensuring they do not block the street or sidewalk, and must remove them within two days after pickup.
