Shaylin Holley Bio

Long-time community leader and Dacula resident, Shay Holley, enthusiastically enters the race for Dacula City Council. Shay is a graduate of Morgan State University and holds a M.A. in Teaching from School For International Training Graduate Institute.

He started his career in Georgia working with the Boys and Girls Club- After School Programs and currently serves his community as a mentor with Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS). Additionally, he served as a coach in the community for several years and is passionate about working with youth and families. 

In his current role as a GCPS Teacher, he engages with school leaders across the County to provide research, resources, and training on best practices to support the learning and long-term development of families and children. Holley's campaign beckons citizens to engage actively, fostering a spirited exchange of ideas through civic engagement, economic development, and youth development. 

Shay is committed to the success of Dacula and hopes to continue his service as a City Council Member.
