Financial Statements

The financial statements included in this report are prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States and guidelines issued by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. State of Georgia statutes require an annual audit of these statements by an independent Certified Public Accountant. Each report includes an Independent Auditor’s Report expressing an opinion on the accuracy of the City’s financial position and changes in financial position and can be found in the financial section of the report.
