The Exxon is now selling fresh made buscuits every morning. These are made on site and are really good. I also have heard that the BP on Harbins will have them too.

Amy LaFaye's on Harbins Rd. has the best biscuits around. 2nd would be the BP station in Carl on Hwy 8.

Absolutely the best! I went for the first time a few weeks back. Amy was working behind the counter with hubby in the kitchen. Fantastic country breakfast complete with eggs (bacon drippings included), bacon, country sausage home made biscuits, gravy, buttery grits....the whole nine yards! As I was paying for my meal, I was offered a sample of their peanut butter pie and banna pudding. UNREAL! If you haven't tried them out yet, your missing out. Great food, reasonalble prices all provided by a wonderful local family. Im a regular now for sure!

Where is this "Amy Lafaye" place? I'm always up for good food with good prices.

On Harbins Rd. almost directly across from CVS.

What Kateaux said. Carl BP has REALLY good greasy southern food, if you can avoid the creepy toothless folks from the nearby trailer park.

If I lived in that trailer park I would be offended.

It is amazing to me that the best food places like these have the best prices too. Both are very reasonable.
Has anyone been to Pappa Jack's at the corner of Spout Springs Rd and Friendship Rd. next to the likker store?

No, but we heard it's good and it's on our list of places to try. It's just kind of a long drive for some every day type food.

No, but it's about 500 feet from my work, so I might try it sometime soon.

I tend to agree with him. There are definitely some less than interesting folks that turn up from the surrounding trailer parks. Not all people are weird that live in trailers, but not all people that live in trailers are normal either. ;)

Try the Day after Day Cafe in Dacula in the morning. Nice home made biscuts.
